I would like to know what is the difference between "Information Engineering" and "information management"?

Information engineering and Information management are all information-related disciplines, and students will have access to hardware and software development courses, but they have different focus direction. Students of Information Engineering Department focus on how a certain programming language is written the required program, how to remove the mistake and improve, follow up treatment and so on. As a result, the professional study of Information Engineering Department is more than Information Management Department, in addition to programming languages and computer study, there also needs to study logic design, circuit study, engineering, math, computer organization courses and so on.
Students in Information Management Department focus on how to manage systems by basic disciplines of information, as well as the solution to users for a variety of questions that may be encountered. Information Management Department has to study professional courses such as production management, marketing strategy, human resources, R & D management and financial management and so on. As for job market, labors can do a variety of jobs in hardware and software industry, and Information Management Department in the financial industry has more advantages than Information Engineering.
