In simple terms "Electrical Engineering" refers to the relevant electrical engineering disciplines, such as electrical power, electronics, control, etc.. As a result, the students of department of electrical engineering study the basic range of related fields, and then choose one specific field for further study. And "Electronic Engineering" is one of early electrical engineering classification, but with advances in technology and increasingly complex applications, electronic engineering becomes independent with the trend of the times, and electronic engineering focused on semiconductor integrated circuit (IC), traditional analog electronic circuits, digital electronic circuits and computer hardware and peripherals, etc..
“Information Engineering” focuses on information, communication systems and related hardware and software applications. Information Engineering Department emphasizes the use of mathematical theory or algorithms and solves the problem by software programs. Although with the advancement of technology, Information Engineering Department has to learn Electrical and Electronic basis, but the software is the most professional among departments.
