This department is under the jurisdiction of the technical college (the college of science originally) since academic year 96, and for belongingness to accord with technical college, and with reference to trend of times and the so-called international popular name, this department will be officially replaced by ‘Computer Science and Information Engineering Department’ in academic year 98, and English called ‘Department of Computer Science’.
